Sunday Kids’ Programme

Preschoolers

Preschoolers are welcome to stay in the service with their families. We provide toys and space at the back of the main auditorium where parents can join in the service while playing with their preschoolers. You’re also welcome to use the adjacent glass foyer where the service is also audible.

School Years 1-6

Are your kids 5 to 10 years old? They’re welcome to join KBC’s Explorers programme. This runs in term-time on Sundays in the back hall directly behind the auditorium. Join the service initially then head out. The team of volunteers runs large and small group activities. Music. Activities. Morning tea. It’s lots of fun and there are always creative ways to engage with the Bible.

School Years 7-8

Are your kids 11 to 14? They’re welcome to join KBC’s Pioneers programme. This runs on Sudays in term-time, in the upstairs Pioneers room off the back hall above the auditorium. Join the service initially then head out. There’s always a variety of activities and conversations along with morning tea and lots of fun. All welcome.

mainly music

mainly music™  is about young children and their parents or caregivers enjoying music, rhyme, rhythm, creativity and each other. It’s an opportunity for parents and caregivers to socialise and get together with friends. The brainchild of a kiwi mum, mainly music™ is now popular all over the world. Each session is designed for delight as you participate in a music, story, activity and interaction environment together. It’s free to come along and try it out, then $5 a pop. Tuesdays in term-time. Playgroup

Bring your preschoolers to our safe, relaxing, fun playgroup. We have toys, crafts and space to run around. This is an unstructured time and it’s a great way to relax with friends and meet other locals with littlies. A team of volunteers runs the playgroup and provides the activities. Come for a break. Come for a play. Every Wednesday during school terms. Morning tea is provided for adults (children BYO). $3 per family. Space available, just show up. Questions? Iconz4girls

Are you aged five to seventeen? We run a fun programme with values based activities in a safe and supportive environment. You’re welcome to join in any Thursday from 6 to 7:30pm during school terms at 161 Karori Road. The leadership team is established and experienced. Our weekly programme offers a space where girls can be themselves and enjoy all sorts like challenges, indoor & outdoor activities, crafts, visits. The programme’s activities cover a variety of spiritual, physical, adventure, community service and personal interest themes. Check out the website and get in touch, or just come along to try it out.
