Naomi continues in the series on 2nd Samuel and brings us the story of David and Mephibosheth from 2 Samuel 9 where David asks to show kindness to anyone of Saul's house in honour of Johnathan. Mephibosheth is restored to the status of the King's sons and he takes all his meals at the king's table.
Naomi then reflects on which table we have been invited to take our meals at and encourages us to reject the smorgasbord of western culture but take our place with Jesus every day.as he has invited us.
