4We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD, about his power and his mighty wonders.
6 so the next generation might know them - even the children not yet born - and they in turn will teach their own children.
7 So each generation should set its hope anew on God
God is looking for grandparents who will authentically and compassionately represent Christ to the next generations. Will you be one of them?
Even if you aren’t a grandparent but are a significant part of another child’s life this verse is for you.
To KBC Parents, give grandparents, aunts or uncles who are waiting to be invited, permission to be a big part of your children’s faith development. Grandparents are precious because they can offer wisdom, reinforce the things of faith and give direction on the journey. Distance can sometimes be a barrier but with social media now and, of course the good old phone, children can be receiving the message of God’s love through extended family. Think and pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance on this. Every little bit helps along your child’s faith journey. The memories formed will be invaluable.
In the next few weeks I will be including testimonies and ideas on how grandparents can share their faith with their grandchildren.
